Coming up…
August 5th, 2010

I’ve got a few games in the pipeline, they’re all done and you’ll be able to play them soon so stay tuned!

You might know Colob as a puzzle game for iPhone/iPod but now it’ll be playable on PC too! Can you memorize all the tiles? It gets harder each stage! If I would be selling this game I would say it stimulates your brain and makes you smarter but I am not. It does though. Dr. Kenney said it.

In Ballista your task is to shoot a given number of balloons. You can make your ballista stronger between waves and buy extra arrows to help you reach the goal. 20 stages will keep you entertained for hours.

Super Iron Champ became a huge success and that screams for a sequel! This time around you help customers iron their laundry while upgrading your iron and ironing board. I’m quite happy about this title because it’s my first game ever to have voice acting by a lovely lady who is doing a great job giving the game a really sweet tint.

Although long in production I can proudly say the game is finally done and will be released soon. Build your own shopping street and lure customers in many different shops! Upgrade shops to allow more customers and keep an eye on your funds to become the greatest shopping mogul.

Asent will be an espionage puzzle game seen from the top. I will release more information for it later but as of now that’s all you get.

There are actually many more games in production but let’s first focus on these games.

PS. Tutorial part 4 will also be out soon ;)

‘Torture Joran’ big hit with Peruvians
July 7th, 2010

Dutchman Joran van der Sloot has become the unwitting lead player in an internet game currently popular among Peruvians, say local media sources.

The game, ‘Torture Joran’, was put on the market by the website juegator.com. In the game, Van der Sloot is seated on an electric chair. Players try to inflict as many electric shocks on him as possible. Whoever forces him to make a confession is the winner. Whoever makes him die is the loser.

The 22-year-old man is accused of the 30 May murder of 21-year-old Stephany Flores in the Peruvian capital, Lima. He is currently incarcerated in the city’s Miguel Castro Castro prison. He is also a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of US high school graduate Natalee Holloway, on the Caribbean island of Aruba.

Armor Picross has to change name
April 1st, 2010

I’ve (well, Armor Games to be exact) recently received a letter from Nintendo kindly letting us know that ‘picross’ is a name registered by Nintendo Ltd. What the…? I really didn’t know that, I always thought picross (notice I don’t use a capital letter there) is the name for the traditional Japanese puzzle games just like griddlers, paint by number and nonogram puzzle is.

Well, I don’t want any trouble with Nintendo (love!) so time to change the name…Any ideas? The best idea will win the deluxe version of Armor Picross…which won’t be called Armor Picross but the name you thought of! I think the title should include the word Armor, it’s good advertising for Armor Games and I don’t think they’ll want to change that so make sure your title is Armor… or …Armor.

Post your suggestions below or e-mail to contest@kenney.nl!

Development update (March)
March 5th, 2010

I’ve got no new things to release so here’s a little development update to keep you…updated.

Shop Tycoon

Shop Tycoon (build a successful shopping street) is coming along nicely and I hope the game can be launched this very month. Slip ‘n Slide Plus has gone gold, so it will be released very soon :D

Martin Mole

Martin Mole (fun physics game) is also on track although it might take a little while before it’s finished since I’m putting all my effort in this to make sure it’ll end up great.

I came up with the Martin Mole character and game idea back in 2008 and I was developing it together with Gabriel (who made Totem Destroyer) although we never finished it and now I’m starting all over.

Slip 'n Slide Android

On top of that I’m working on an Android version of Slip ‘n Slide (Play the Flash version) which is coming along nicely although I have no preview yet since alot of graphics are still placeholders.

It will probably be released in the Market although I haven’t decided yet if the game will be free, although, if the game is going to get a price at least there will be a free lite version.

I hope that’s enough projects for you :)

February 17th, 2010

I’ve been playing tycoon games all my life, my favorite ones are probably Theme Hospital and RollerCoaster Tycoon – great games, try ‘em out if you haven’t already!

Because I enjoy them so much and I know most of you do too I decided to give it a go myself;

Shop Tycoon

I will do the graphical side and Sabatino will be coding. Can’t give a release date yet since it’s still in production but it’ll be soon :)
